Community Access Western Sydney (CAWS) is in its 38th year of operation. Our disability programs are underpinned by our commitment to advocacy for people with a disability. We want to add to our professional team in three different roles:

  1. Specialist Support Coordinator
  2. Support Coordinator
  3. Social Educator

Specialist Support Coordinator 
The successful candidate will provide support coordination within a specialist framework with a focus on addressing barriers and reducing complexity in the support environment. The role is to reduce risk and complexity and provide direction for a complex case through assessment, liaison with stakeholders and developing an intervention plan. You will need a minimum qualification of Bachelor degree in Psychology, Social Work or other Allied Health. See Job Description for details of position.

Support Coordinator
In this role you will support participants to build the skills needed to understand, implement and use their plan. You will work with participants to ensure a mix of supports are used to increase their capacity to maintain relationships, manage their own service delivery tasks, live more independently and be included in the community. You will need a minimum qualification of Certificate IV in relevant area with at least two years experience working with people with disability or mental illness.

Social Educator
If you love to teach, mentor and coach people with a disability this role is for you. CAWS provides individual support to people that need to learn new skills, modify current skills or just need a hand to access the community and lead a normal life. You will need a minimum of a Certificate III qualification in a relevant field and 12 months experience working with people with disability or mental illness
